1. Acceptance of Terms

2. Services Offered

Astro Wisdom offers personalised astrology reports, consultations, and related digital products based on your provided birth information (date, time, and location). Our services are for personal insight, spiritual exploration, and entertainment purposes only.

Our services do not constitute medical, psychological, legal, financial, or any other professional advice. You should consult with a qualified professional for advice concerning these matters.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete birth information. Inaccurate data may lead to inaccurate astrological interpretations. Astro Wisdom is not liable for errors resulting from incorrect information provided by the user.

You agree to use our services and website for lawful purposes only and not to engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the website or services.

4. Intellectual Property

All content provided on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and astrological reports, is the property of Astro Wisdom and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our website, except as generally permitted by standard web browser functionality.

5. Payments, Refunds, and Cancellations

All payments for reports and consultations are processed securely through third-party payment gateways (e.g., Stripe).

• Astrology Reports: Due to the personalized and digital nature of our reports, all sales are final once the report has been generated and delivered. No refunds will be issued for completed reports.

• Consultations: Cancellations or rescheduling requests for consultations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Missed appointments or cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled time may not be eligible for a refund.

We ask you not to provide personal information that is not reasonably necessary for your order, consultation or enquiry.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. Astro Wisdom does not warrant that the website or services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Astrological reports and consultations are intended for personal insight, reflection, spiritual exploration and entertainment. They do not constitute medical, psychological, legal, tax, investment or financial advice.

Astro Wisdom does not use astrological information to make decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significant consequences for you.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Astro Wisdom be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of our website or services.

Personal data relating to a child under the age of 16 may only be submitted by, or with the permission of, the child’s parent or legal guardian.

Astro Wisdom may refuse to process third-party data where we reasonably believe that the information has been provided without an appropriate legal basis or authorisation.

8. Sensitive Personal Data

During an enquiry, order or consultation, you may voluntarily provide information relating to your health, religious or spiritual beliefs, ethnic background, relationships or other sensitive personal circumstances.

Please do not submit medical records, identity documents or other highly sensitive information unless Astro Wisdom has specifically confirmed that this is necessary.

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR, we must have a lawful basis for each processing activity.

Depending on the circumstances, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

Performance of a Contract

We process personal data where this is necessary to enter into or perform a contract with you. This includes processing an order, preparing an astrology report, providing a consultation and delivering a digital product.

Legal Obligation

We process and retain certain information where this is necessary to comply with legal obligations, including tax, accounting and administrative requirements.

Legitimate Interests

We may process personal data where this is necessary for our legitimate business interests, provided that your privacy rights and interests do not override those interests.

Our legitimate interests may include:

• providing customer service;

11. Payments and Stripe

Online payments are processed through Stripe.

When you make a payment, Stripe may process information such as:

• your name;

• email address;

• billing details;

• payment method;

• bank or card information;

• transaction amount;

• currency;

• IP address; and

• fraud-prevention information.

Astro Wisdom does not normally receive or store your complete payment-card details. These details are processed directly by Stripe.

Stripe acts as an independent data controller for certain payment and compliance activities and as a service provider for other processing activities. Stripe’s own privacy policy applies to its processing of personal data.

Stripe may process information in countries outside the European Economic Area. Where required, Stripe uses recognised legal safeguards for international transfers.

12. Website Hosting and JouwWeb

Our website is hosted and technically supported by JouwWeb.

JouwWeb may process limited personal and technical data on our behalf in connection with:

• website hosting;

• website security;

• contact forms;

• website administration;

• order functionality;

• technical logging; and

• the operation and maintenance of the website.

JouwWeb may also use essential technical service providers to deliver its platform. Its processing is subject to its own privacy and security documentation and, where applicable, a data-processing agreement.

13. Other Service Providers

We may use carefully selected service providers to support our business operations, including providers of:

• email and business communications;

• cloud storage;

• website maintenance;

• newsletter distribution;

• bookkeeping and accounting;

Where such tools are used, we aim to minimise the amount of personal data shared and, where reasonably possible, remove or replace identifying information.

We do not provide personal data to AI service providers for their own independent marketing purposes.

AI-supported output may be reviewed, adjusted or supplemented before delivery. Astro Wisdom does not rely solely on automated processing to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.

Please do not provide unnecessary sensitive information in open text fields.

15. International Transfers of Personal Data

Some of our service providers, including payment, email, cloud, analytics or AI providers, may be established outside the European Economic Area or may use servers located outside the EEA.

Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we take reasonable steps to ensure that an appropriate legal transfer mechanism is in place. Depending on the destination and provider, this may include:

16. Data Retention

• contact enquiries that do not result in an order: up to 12 months after the enquiry has been completed;

• customer and order correspondence: up to 2 years after the last substantive communication;

• birth details and information used to prepare an astrology report: up to 2 years after delivery of the service;

• completed astrology reports: up to 2 years after delivery, allowing us to answer questions, correct errors or provide replacement copies;

• invoices, transaction records and financial administration: at least 7 years where required by Dutch tax law;

• newsletter subscription data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent;

• consent records and unsubscribe records: for as long as reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance; and

• complaints and legal claims: for as long as necessary to resolve the matter and comply with applicable limitation periods.

In specific circumstances, we may retain information for a shorter or longer period where this is necessary, proportionate or legally required.

After the applicable retention period expires, personal data is deleted, anonymised or securely destroyed.

17. Data Security

Astro Wisdom takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against:

• misuse;

• alteration;

• accidental disclosure; and

• unlawful destruction.

Depending on the nature of the processing, these measures may include:

We will normally respond within one month. Where a request is complex or multiple requests have been submitted, this period may be extended in accordance with the GDPR. We will inform you if an extension is required.
